Cherai Beach is located in the Cherai village of Ernakulam district of Kerala, India. Cherai Beach is just 35 km from Kochi, the business capital of Kerala and is just 20 km from Cochin International Airport . The 15 km of long golden beach is very clean, shallow, and attracts swimming and sunbathing. Dolphins are occasionally seen here. This lovely beach bordering Vypeen island is ideal for swimming. The beach is lined by gorgeous coconut groves and paddy fields.
